Speak'n Again

Been a while since we last posted. Lots of activity. New President. Torn economy. On personal note, new grandson. Anyway along the byways of the legal parts of Florida many resort communities (aren't they all?) have been trying to stop people from renting their vacation homes. Now don't get me wrong no one likes excess noise and people dumping garbage on their lawn, but is this due to families on vacation or just rude people whether renting vacation rentals or long term rental or owners even? My view is that you don't pave over a field to remove a weed.
Anyway, I speak more about this on another web site: http://www.rumrelllaw.com/
check it out and maybe give this country lawyer a twitter or 2!

Cayo Hueso during Mini Lobster Season

As long as you are in Key West during Mini Lobster Season you can go to Schooner Wharf bar and see and listen to Michael McCloud as he sings about bar dogs and big butts. Be sure to ask him to tell you about his third ex wife and he might give you a real deal on his cd's. And when you finish you can stop at Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shop at the Bight. Look for Captain Outrageous' cats during dinner time and then stop by his gallery on Caroline Steet acrross from the Spottswood family homes. You may even be fortunate to see him in one of the Conch Republic parades with Quees of the Conch Republic! A real Florida and Key West tradition!!

More byways of Real Florida

Sometimes it just takes going on the Loop to find what many have never seen. And those who have painted Old Florida sometimes called "Highwaymen"
